"Tomorrowland" is a 2015 American science fiction adventure film produced and directed by Brad Bird, written by Bird and Damon Lindelof. The film stars Britt Robertson, George Clooney, Hugh Laurie, Raffey Cassidy, Tim McGraw and Kathryn Hahn. In this futuristic society in which humans have discovered a way to travel to a utopian society known as "Tomorrowland," the protagonist Sarah Ballard is taken from her family during an operation that leaves her comatose for nineteen years. In that time she has been cryogenically frozen until medical breakthroughs allow her to be thawed out in the year 2035. When she is revived, she has no knowledge of the past nineteen years. On her arrival to Tomorrowland, she learns that the planet's inventor and her father, Frank Walker (George Clooney), has gone missing. Dave (Britt Robertson) is assigned to guide Sarah in her search for the missing man as they venture throughout Tomorrowland.
